FoPV Walk - The Lost Waterwheels of the Porter Valley
National Mills weekend is an opportunity to celebrate our national heritage of waterwheels and windmills. We mark the occasion with a walk to look afresh at the Porter valley and identify the sites of some lost waterwheels. This walk is limited to 20 people. Tickets available from 25th April 2025

About the event
National Mills weekend is an opportunity to celebrate our national heritage of waterwheels and windmills. We mark the occasion with a walk to look afresh at the Porter valley and identify the sites of some of our lost waterwheels. We finish at Shepherd Wheel where the waterwheel still turns. Suitable for all ages. Approximately 2 hours.
Tickets are free for FoPV members using the emailed discount code and £5 for non-members.
Children under 12 are free but must be booked.
