FoPV Walk - Trees

A gentle walk led by Gerry Firkins who will lead a guided tree walk through Festival Woodland above Forge Dam to have a look at the collection of species and how to identify them. The walk will be about one and a half hours and cover around 30 species and is relatively easy walking. Collins Tree Guide may be useful.

It will be led by Gerry Firkins; he is a local botanist and has led field meetings and taught plant identification for Sheffield University, WEA and the RSPB since the 1980s and is now a tutor for the Botanical Society of the British Isles.

Tickets are free for FoPV members using the emailed discount code and £5 for non-members.

Children under 12 are free but must be booked.
