About the event

A gentle walk led by Louisa from South Yorkshire Bat Group, this evening walk will introduce you to the bats of South Yorkshire. You’ll learn how bats use echolocation and have the chance to listen to their calls using bat detectors as we explore the valley after dark.

Louisa is a local ecologist with a special interest in bats and is an active member of South Yorkshire Bat Group. She has worked as an ecological consultant for over decade, before more recently taking up a position as a senior planning ecologist for a local authority.

Please bring a torch and wear sensible shoes.
