FoPV Walk - "Bell pits", Bomb holes, Building stone and Bogs at Ringinglow!
Join Peter Kennett for a 2½ mile walk round former quarries and coal pits on Brown Edge and in Lady Canning’s Plantation. The walk will take between 2 and 2½ hours, over rough country. This walk is limited to 15 people. Tickets available from 23rd September 2022.

About the event
Investigate the geology and industrial archaeology of the moorland edge of Sheffield.
Some of the footpaths on this circular walk are rough underfoot and waterproof clothing is advised, since it can get a bit wild up there. There are three stiles on the route.
