Further to our last update we have received details from the council regarding the works that were undertaken recently. We will pass on any further details as and when we get them. To summarise; The initial start date was scheduled for 4 August, but due to rainfall and elevated pond levels, works were delayed. Forge Dam Updates

The dam and the main penstock are leaking which is why the level drops when we don't have much rain. It's something that was identified at the end of the restoration works and has been allocated funds for repair. FoPV is very concerned about the situation and we are all feeling frustrated at having to wait for action. 8 months
